Dustin Echols
Dustin, 29 who resides in Woodinville, Washington with his wife Rena and daughter Findley, pilots the Ron Jones Jr. hull. Dustin was introduced to racing at a young age by his parents, Mark and Shelley Echols at the early age of 6. He has raced flat track dirt bikes and has won many off-road events since however his first hydro race was in 1990 at the age of 9. He raced in the outboard division competing in several different classes and won seven outboard high point championships in 13 years. In 2004, Dustin moved to the Inboard Division competing in the 2.5 Liter Modified Class. Since then he has won 2 World Championships, 3 National Championships, and broke a world record that had stood for over 16 years. In 2008, Dustin became the first driver in ULHRA history to win the NACCS National Championship. |
